Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Alan Lee created Street Food Japan tours to share his love for Japanese cuisine and culture with the rest of the world. Food possesses the unique ability to connect people worldwide and break barriers along the way. Alan graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, and began a career in the financial services industry before going on to pursue his passion. Fluent in both Japanese and English, Alan is dedicated to helping you immerse into the culture to make for a seamless, comfortable and enjoyable experience.

On this 3-hour night tour, we will start off in Shinjuku’s Omoide Yokocho, which literally translates to “Memory Lane” because of its nostalgic feel that transports you back to the 1950s.
